Money Maker is an interactive installation that simulates an equal working environment with motion-sensing technology. The interaction is designed with Unity and controlled by a hand-tracking sensor called Leap Motion Controller.
A player’s goal is to use hand gestures to “throw” cash behind the counter on the screen within the given time, in order to collect money (virtually). The experience was designed to imitate how factory workers make money with their hands, and with devoted and repetitive physical labor. During the interaction, one’s virtual earning is solely based on the amount of physical labor, regardless of class, race, gender, and education.
